Inglorious Bastards Review

I’ve been meaning to write this review since Friday.

So here it goes. Movie was pretty good for a Quentin Tarantino movie. Although it felt like a collection of scenes, and to me, lacked a completely coherent flow.  The movie’s “chapters” didn’t help this feeling of mine. My main complaint with the movie is that I wish they would have spent more time on the Bastards, bc besides Hitler and the Jew Hunter, they are by far the best parts of the movie. I think the movie could have done with less Shosanna (Mélanie Laurent, who I thought was the daughter from Rome, but I think I am mistaken now….), who is a Jew in hiding that owns the movie theater where the shit hits the fan. Hitler and the Jew Hunter steal every scene they are in with Christoph Waltz being one of the best villains I have seen in quite awhile (if ever). Ending was very well done, and Brad Pitts accent is worth the price of admission alone. Id say 3 1/2 out of 5 stars overall. As a Tarantino movie, probably a 4-4.5/5, I don’t know how much better he can actually do.
