This is exactly why I wear my seat belt at all times when I am on planes.
Plane crashes, oh well, but turbulence, BAM, to the face. J/K about the plane crashes.
One of the Tenn. Rep. senators co-sponsored a bill to stop mountaintop removal mining. Sen. Lamar Alexander is the only Republican listed as a cosponsor. What does the headline say? West Virginians thankful for keeping their environment? No, instead,
WTF? I can just hear South Park now “They took our jobs!!” Fuckers, how about they took my streams, or the mountains of my youth?
Wow. Just fucking wow. I wish this was actually a movie.
A good list of TV shows that are up for renewal and the status, broken up by networks. I still cannot believe that Terminator got canceled. I hope the movie makes a zillion dollars, which will make Fox look stupid for giving up on a great show.
Here is the list;
at one point or time. Due to my resurgent interest in Star Trek lore, here is a list of stars that appeared in cameos/guest roles.
Well, I didn’t give much thought to Madison as a city before I came out here. It is absolutely amazing. To start with, the middle of town has the capital building, which looks a lot like the capital in DC. It is on a hill with a lot of the major roads leading out, so when you are traveling towards it, the building rises above on this hill, and it looks amazing. During the warmer parts of the year, on Saturday there is a farmers market. Now for us in WV, it might sound like a small hill jack little fair. Here there was produce, cheese (and I mean a lot of cheese), flowers, plants, coffee, and also a lot of artist booths: painters and seamstresses and jewelers. I was quite surprised to see how many people and stands they had set up. There was hundreds and maybe thousands of people there I would say.
They were also having a car show down State St. at the same time. State Street is really neat.They don’t allow cars to travel on it, only buses and bikes. So it is very pedestrian friendly. It is lined with shops and restaurants. They even have a jamba juice and an Einsteins. Back to the car show, I got to see a DeLorean close up. It was bad ass. There was also a very pimp 66 corvette, and an old pink Cadillac. There were tons more, but those are the ones that stand out.
I’m about to take off to watch Star Trek. I cannot help it, I know I should probably see more of Madison, but I want to see Star Trek before anyone ruins it for me.
Long live JJ.
Be back in WV tomorrow, see everyone soon.
